Cancellation and Refund Policy
Top Tier Event Planning — Cathy Bestey
Effective date: 2026-10-19
cathy@mail.toptiereventplanning.comThese terms apply to our $300 one-page website design service. By accepting these terms at checkout, you agree to the service scope and refund policy below.
1. Canceling before work begins
If you cancel before design work begins, you will receive a full refund of your $300 build payment.
2. Canceling after work begins
If you cancel after design work begins but before final approval, we will refund the portion of the fee that has not been earned. For this purpose, the $300 package is divided into these milestones: Content organization and initial layout: $75. Completed first draft delivered for review: $150. Included revisions, final checks, and launch or handoff: $75. Only completed milestones may be retained. If a milestone is partially completed, any deduction must reasonably reflect the work performed, be explained in writing, and not exceed that milestone’s amount. The total retained amount will never exceed the $300 build fee. We do not impose an additional cancellation penalty.
3. After approval and delivery
Once you have approved the website and we have completed the agreed delivery, change-of-mind refunds are generally unavailable. If the delivered website is missing an agreed feature or has an issue caused by our work, contact us promptly. We will offer to correct the issue within a reasonable time at no additional charge. If we cannot deliver the agreed service or resolve a material failure, we will provide an appropriate partial or full refund. This does not limit any refund or other remedy required by law.
4. If we cancel
If we cancel before delivering usable work, we will refund your build payment in full. If you choose to keep completed, usable portions of the project, we may instead agree in writing on a partial refund and the specific work you may retain.
5. What happens after a full refund
Unless a different written settlement applies: The website design service ends, and no further revisions, publishing, or support are included. Your contractual permission to use the refunded custom work ends. Please stop using or publishing that work within seven calendar days after the refund is issued. This applies only to work and rights we are legally entitled to control. After at least seven calendar days’ written notice, we may remove our hosted preview or refunded website from an account we control and end project-specific access we provided. We will not enter your independently owned accounts, delete your original materials, take your domain, or interfere with your email or unrelated services. You retain your original photos, logo, business information, supplied content, domain, and customer records. We will provide a reasonable way to retrieve any customer-owned materials or inquiry records held solely by us before access ends. A refund does not automatically cancel a separate domain, hosting, email, or platform subscription. Each service must be addressed under its own terms. You may keep receipts and records reasonably needed for accounting, legal, or dispute purposes.
6. What happens after a partial refund
Our written refund confirmation will identify: The amount refunded and the amount retained. The completed work you may continue using. Any unfinished or refunded work excluded from continued use. Any access, handoff, or hosting changes and their effective dates. A partial refund does not automatically cancel your right to use completed work you have paid for. We will not remove paid-for work from your independently owned accounts.
7. Third-party purchases
Refunds for hosting, domains, subscriptions, or other third-party purchases are governed by their disclosed terms. We will not deduct unapproved third-party purchases from your build refund. Any approved, nonrefundable third-party costs must have been disclosed before purchase.
8. Requesting a refund
Email cathy@mail.toptiereventplanning.com with your name, order date, and a description of your request. We will respond within three business days and explain the proposed resolution and any deductions in writing. Approved refunds will be submitted to the original payment method within five business days. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.
9. Payment disputes
Please contact us so we can try to resolve a concern. You are not required to give up your right to dispute a payment, contact a regulator, or share an honest review. A pending payment dispute does not automatically authorize us to delete your website, take control of your accounts, or remove customer-owned information.
